CARAML
Caraml is a dream pop duo formed from "opposite sides of the earth:" South Africa (Stephan Kreussel) and Lithuania (Dominykas Morkunas), but their collaboration is seamless; when it came to creating Seasons, Kreussel and Morkunas rented a house next to a lake and set up a recording studio, where they were inspired by solitude and nature. The album Seasons beckons to cyclical change and the trial and tribulations that come with each iteration, but ultimately, a cycle that always falls on the side of rebirth. The instrumentals truly do create a verdant tonal expanse; the echoed vocals and soft, yet pronounced glimmers of guitar that appear in the background feel akin to the cool air in a forest, as if you are feeling leaves and branches brush against you as you make your way through.
