La légende du bebop Sadik Hakim, résidant à Montréal depuis 1966, a enregistré cette oeuvre majeure pour Radio-Canada en 1973. Accompagné par ses compatriotes saxophonistes Sayyd Abdul Al-Khabyyr et Billy Robinson, Hakim parcourt un large éventail de styles allant de la délicieuse ballade « Liliane » au jazz-funk de « Greek Street Break In ».
Bop legend Sadik Hakim moved to Montreal in 1966, where he recorded this major musical statement for the CBC in 1973. Flanked by his fellow expatriates, saxophonists Sayyd Abdul Al-Khabyyr and Billy Robinson, Hakim crafted a niche classic spanning a wide spectrum of jazz styles, from the beautiful ballad '' Liliane '' to the funky '' Greek Street Break In ''.
