Long-awaited first official re-issue of legendary Montreal sludgeabilly duo Deja Voodoo’s debut album from 1984.

A stripped-down blend of rockabilly, punk attitude, and grimy blues. With distorted guitar, primitive drum machines, and tongue-in-cheek horror and B-movie themes, they stood apart from the polish of mainstream rock.

At a time when much of the scene leaned toward new wave and post-punk sheen, Deja Voodoo’s lo-fi aggression and dark humor helped shape Montreal’s underground identity, influencing later garage and psychobilly acts while building a fiercely loyal cult following.
