Paru à l'origine en 1962 et exclusif au Canada, cet enregistrement live du quintette de Ted Curson a été capté au club montréalais La Tête de l'Art, une salle qui faisait partie d'une scène jazz très active accueillant musiciens locaux et grandes figures internationales.

Ce document restitue fidèlement l'énergie du groupe et l'atmosphère d'une époque où Montréal était un centre majeur du jazz nord-américain.

Originally released in 1962 and exclusive to Canada, this live recording by the Ted Curson Quintet was captured at Montreal's La Tête de l'Art, a venue that was part of the city's vibrant jazz scene, hosting local musicians as well as leading international artists.

This recording faithfully conveys the group's energy and the atmosphere of a time when Montreal was  major North American jazz hub.
