L'unique album des Champignons a vu le jour en 1972. N'ayant aucune distribution commerciale, le groupe donnait gratuitement l'album aux spectateurs de ses concerts. Désormais un album culte, Première capsule doit son statut mythique autant à son style psychédélique brut, qui va du blues-rock au progressif, qu'à l'inclassable « Château hanté » de 11 minutes, un trip à glacer le sang!

Les Champignons' sole full-length, Première Capsule was released in 1972. Lacking a means of distribution, most copies were given away to audiences at the group's concerts. It has since become a cult classic, owing to its hard driving psychedelic sound that runs the gamut from bluesy to proggy, and featuring the unclassifiable, 11-minute "Le Château hanté" (The Haunted Castle) - a spooky, trippy classic!
