Première parution sur vinyle de ce concert exemplaire du trio de Peterson, Brown et Thigpen, enregistré à l'Olympia de Paris un peu plus d'un an avant leur chef-d'oeuvre Night Train. Dans un son stéréo d'une clarté remarquable, le Maharaja démonte son jeu virtuose sur six standards, dont une version hautement swingéée de Moanin de Bobby Timmons et la splendide et mélancolique  I Remember Clifford. 

For the first time on vinyl, this is another stellar set by the classic Night Train-era trio of Peterson, Brown and Thigpen, recorded in limpid stereo at the Paris Olympia. The Maharaja expounds his brilliant, virtuosic style of play across six standards including a hard swinging version of Bobby Timmons Moanin and a beautiful, melancholy I Remember Clifford.
